- 3 heaping Tbsp. powdered sugar
- 1 scant c. butter
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. pecans
Directions

1Cream vanilla, sugar, butter and water (a little pinch of salt).

2Add flour and pecans.

3Mix well and shape into little balls the size of walnuts.

4Use remainder of sugar and sift into a bag, drop cookies in and shake carefully.

5When cookies get brown on the bottom, they are done.

6They never get brown on top.
-
7Put in a cool oven and bake at 300° or slightly hotter.
-
8Bake 30 to 40 minutes.

9Some ovens may be 20 minutes.

10Makes about 3 dozen.
