Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg, beaten
Directions

1Stir dry ingredients together.

2Mix milk and egg and add to dry mixture.

3Mix thoroughly, but do not beat.

4Add nuts.

5Bake in greased loaf pan at 350° for about 1 hour or until straw comes out clean.

6Beat if kept for a day or two, then slice as thin as possible and serve with butter or cream cheese.

7Can be made 3 or 4 days in advance.

8Also freezes well.

9Makes 1 small loaf.

10May use batter to make muffins.
