- 2 c. coarsely chopped pecans, walnuts or peanuts
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1 Tbsp. baking soda
Directions

1Butter large cookie sheet or spray with Pam.

2Combine nuts, sugar and corn syrup in medium size heavy pan.

3Bring to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly, 10 to 15 minutes.

4Boil without stirring until it reaches 295° on a candy thermometer, about 15 to 20 minutes.

5Remove from heat and stir in baking soda (mixture will foam up).

6Stir quickly until blended and quickly pour onto cookie sheet.

7Spread with thin spatula as thin as possible.

8Cool completely.

9Break into pieces and store in airtight container.
