- 1/2 lb. cashews, finely chopped
- 1/2 lb. walnuts, finely chopped
- 1 c. cooked brown rice
- 1 c. mild Cheddar
- 2 egg whites
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
Directions

1Mix all ingredients and form into patties.

2Either saute in 1 tablespoon canola oil or bake on greased cookie sheet at 325° for 20 minutes, turning halfway through cooking time.

3Makes 4 to 6 patties.
