- 3 1/2 sticks margarine
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 4 1/2 c. plain flour
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. lemon extract
- 6 whole eggs
- 2 c. white raisins
- 4 c. pecan halves
Directions

1Melt margarine on low flame.

2Cream with sugar; mix well.

3Add well beaten eggs, then add lemon extract.

4Sift flour and baking powder.

5Add white raisins and pecans.

6Add to other mixture. Bake in tube pan lined with 2 layers of brown paper.

7Bake for 2 hours at 275°.

8Cover with flat piece of foil.

9Put pan of water below rack.

10When 2 hours is up, remove foil and let brown.
