- 1 c. butter or oleo
- 6 eggs
- 2 c. sugar
- 5 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 lb. white raisins
- 1 qt. nuts
- 1 c. fruit juice
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. nutmeg

Directions

1Cream butter and sugar; add eggs.

2Mix dry ingredients together.

3Add juice alternately with flour.

4Add nuts and raisins last.

5Bake in a tube pan.

6Place pan of water over top of cake for 2 hours, baking at 250°.

7Then take water out and raise heat to 300° and bake about 1 1/2 hours or until toothpick comes out dry.
