- 1 lb. butter (1/2 margarine and 1/2 butter)
- 3 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 c. plain flour
- 1 c. self-rising flour
- 10 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- nuts to taste
Directions

1Cream butters and sugar in one bowl.

2Mix rest of ingredients together in another bowl (except vanilla and nuts).

3Slowly add ingredients to butter and sugar.

4Add vanilla when all mixed.

5Add nuts to mix slowly.

6Put in cold oven.

7Cook 1 hour at 325° in 2 tube pans.
