  • 3 sticks butter (room temperature)
  • 3/4 c. powdered sugar
  • 4 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 tsp. water
  • 4 c. sifted flour
  • 2 c. chopped pecans

    Cream butter. Add sugar and other ingredients in order given. When thoroughly mixed, mold and shape into fingers about the size of pecans. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Roll in powdered sugar when cool. Be sure to mix pecans in by hand. Makes about 7 dozen.
