- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/3 c. margarine, melted
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 c. Bisquick baking mix
- 1/2 c. corn syrup
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 (6 oz.) bag butterscotch chips
- 1 can salted peanuts or mixed nuts
Directions

1Mix the brown sugar, 1/3 cup margarine, vanilla and egg yolk with a fork in an ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan.

2Stir in Bisquick (will be crumbly).

3Press into pan.

4Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in a 350° oven, or until light brown.

5Cool.

6Melt together the corn syrup, 2 tablespoons margarine and chips; cool.

7Spread over baked crust.

8Sprinkle with nuts; press in lightly.

9Refrigerate until firm.

10Can be frozen.
