Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups sifted flour
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 egg yolk, unbeaten
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- finely chopped nuts, variety of your choice
Directions

1Cream butter in a medium bowl, and then gradually add sugar and cream until light and fluffy.

2Add egg yolk, and beat well.

3Then fold in the flour a little at a time, blending well after each addition; then add vanilla, and mix through.

4Chill dough for several hours.

5Pinch off small pieces of dough and roll into 1 1/3 inch x 1/4 inch sticks.

6Roll sticks in finely chopped nuts.

7Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet at 400 degrees F, for approximately 3-4 minutes.

8You can also squeeze the dough through a cookie press, and roll in nuts.

9bake, and cool.
