  • 1 c. soft butter
  • 2 c. sugar (white)
  • 4 eggs, well beaten
  • 5 c. sifted flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 Tbsp. milk

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat well. Add dry ingredients and milk.

    Mix well.

    Chill 2 hours.

    Roll out and cut.

    Bake at 325° for about 8 minutes. Decorate with your favorite frosting.
