  • 2 c. leaf lettuce
  • 2 Tbsp. green onion tops
  • 3 Tbsp. bacon fat
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • salt and pepper

    Boil the eggs.

    Tear up leaf lettuce into serving bowl. Sprinkle with chopped green onion tops and chopped egg.

    Heat the fat.

    Add vinegar, sugar and salt and pepper to taste.

    Heat liquid thoroughly.

    Pour over lettuce mixture.

    Toss and serve at once.
