- 12 cup margarine or 12 cup butter, softened
- 14 cup granulated sugar
- 14 cup packed brown sugar
- 12 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 egg, separated
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 18 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon water
- 1 cup chopped salted cashews or 1 cup macadamia nuts or 1 cup toasted almond
- 1 ounce unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
Directions

1Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

2Mix margarine, sugars, vanilla and egg yolk in medium bowl.

3Stir in flour and salt.

4Press dough in ungreased rectangular pan, 13 x 9 x 2 inches, with floured hands.

5Beat egg white and water; brush over dough.

6Sprinkle with cashews; press lightly into dough.

7Bake about 25 minutes or until light brown; cool 10 minutes.

8Cut into 3-inch squares.

9Cut each square diagonally in half.

10Immediately remove from pan; cool.

11Drizzle with chocolate.

12Let stand about 2 hours or until chocolate is set.
