Ingredients

  • 1 c. corn syrup
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 1/4 c. peanut butter
  • 7 c. cornflakes
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

    In a saucepan, bring corn syrup and sugar to a full boil and then remove from heat.

    Add the peanut butter and stir until well moistened.

    Pour over the cornflakes and stir well.

    Press cornflakes into a well-buttered sheet pan.

    Cover with the chocolate chips.

    Place in the oven (350°) for 3 to 5 minutes, until the chips are melting.

    Remove from the oven and spread the chocolate evenly over cornflakes.

    Cut while warm.

    Let cool and chocolate set.

    Remove from the pan and store at room temperature.
