- 2 pkg. active dry yeast
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 c. quick cooking rolled oats
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. molasses
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 5 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Mix yeast, sugar, and water together until yeast is dissolved. Add rest of ingredients.

2Let rise until double, punch down, make into loaves and let rise until above pans.

3Bake at 400° for 35 to 45 minutes or until done.
