- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 1 c. quick-cooking rolled oats
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/3 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. honey
Directions

1Stir thoroughly the flour, baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt.

2Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in oats.

3Combine egg, milk and honey.

4Add all at once to dry mixture.

5Stir just until moistened.

6Drop by spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet.

7Bake at 425° for 8 to 10 minutes.

8Makes 12 biscuits.
