- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup shortening
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 cup nuts
- 4 cups oatmeal
Directions

1Cream together the sugars and shortening.

2Add eggs.

3Sift and add the flour, soda and salt.

4Stir in coconut, nuts and oatmeal.

5Bake at 350 degrees. The length of time depends on how large the cookie is. Check them after 8 minutes or so.
