  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. dark corn syrup
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. quick cooking rolled oats

Directions

    Cream together butter and sugar; add spices.

    Stir in corn syrup.

    Add eggs one at a time, stirring after each addition until blended.

    Stir in oats.

    Pour into pie shell.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until knife inserted in center of pie comes out clean. During baking the oatmeal forms a chewy crust on top.
