- 1 cup Butter, Softened
- 1 cup Light Brown Sugar, Packed
- 1/2 cups White Sugar
- 2 whole Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1-1/4 cup Flour
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 3 cups Quick Cook Oatmeal
- 1 cup Chocolate Chips
- 1 cup Coconut
Directions

1Cream together the butter and the sugars. Add eggs, stir until combined. Add vanilla. Pray for stronger arms.

2Add flour, baking soda, and salt, mixing it all together. Add oats, pray wooden spoon doesn't break. Mix.

3Add chocolate chips and coconut. Stir until all ingredients are combined and arm is tired.

4Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Edited: Works better at 350 degrees.

5Use spoons to drop dough onto a greased baking sheet.

6Suggested cooking time is 12-13 minutes.

7Cool on the sheet, then remove to wire racks to finish cooling. Swat Girrl and Retro-Man away from the cookies like flies at a picnic. Oops, one broke. Must eat. Quality control check. Mmm ...
