- 3/4 lb. fresh okra
- 2 to 3 ears fresh corn
- 1/4 c. finely cut-up lean pork (1/4 lb.)
- 1 medium onion
- 4 medium tomatoes
- dash of pepper
- 1/2 c. cornmeal
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Prepare 2 cups sliced okra in cornmeal, salt and pepper.

2Coat okra in meal mixture.

3Cut enough kernels from cooked corn to make a cup.

4Cook and stir pork and onion in skillet until pork is golden.

5Stir in okra.

6Cook 3 minutes.

7Stir in tomatoes and corn.

8Cover and simmer until corn is tender, 10 to 15 minutes. Stir in pepper.
