- 1/2 c. margarine or butter
- 1 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1 tsp. rubbed sage
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of black pepper
- 1/2 c. chicken broth
- 8 c. dried bread cubes or 10 to 12 slices torn up bread
Directions

1Cook and stir onion and celery in margarine in medium skillet over medium heat until tender.

2Stir in seasonings.

3Add onion mixture and chicken broth to bread in large bowl.

4Toss to mix; stuff turkey

5or bake separate as a side dish.

6Makes 8 cups, enough to stuff 12 to 14 pound turkey.
