- 1 large head cabbage (about 3 lb.)
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 can tomato sauce (15 oz.)
- 1 can whole tomatoes (8 oz.)
- 1 c. herb seasoned stuffing mix
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. water
- grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Cut slice from top of cabbage; cut out inside of cabbage, leaving 3/4-inch shell.

2Reserve inside of cabbage for cole slaw. Heat oven to 350°.

3Cook and stir ground beef in 10-inch skillet over medium heat until light brown.

4Drain.

5Stir in 1/2 cup of tomato sauce, the whole tomatoes with liquid, stuffing mix, onion, garlic and salt.

6Break up tomatoes.

7Fill cabbage shell with mixture.

8Place in Dutch oven.

9Mix remaining sauce and water. Pour around cabbage and bake for about 45 minutes.

10Remove cabbage and cut into 6 wedges.

11Spoon hot tomato sauce over.
