Old Fashioned Corn Pudding

- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 c. milk
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 (1 lb.) can cream-style corn
- 2 Tbsp. butter or oleo, melted
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of nutmeg
Directions

1Mix together sugar and cornstarch.

2Gradually add milk, stirring until smooth.

3Add eggs, corn, butter and salt; mix well. Turn into a greased 1-quart baking dish.

4Sprinkle with nutmeg. Place dish in pan of hot water.

5Bake at 300° for 1 3/4 hours or until custard is set.

6Serves 4 to 6 people.
