Ingredients
- 2 cans cream-style corn
- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 c. half and half
- 4 eggs
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. Dijon mustard (optional)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. ground hot pepper
- 2 tsp. dried green pepper flakes
Directions

1Grease a 6-cup baking dish.

2Saute onion in butter.

3Add corn. Mix flour with 1/2 cup half and half.

4Add remaining ingredients, including eggs.

5Stir in corn mixture.

6Pour into baking dish. Put baking dish in shallow pan on oven rack.

7Add water to pan to come halfway up the sides of baking casserole.

8Bake at 350° for 1 hour, or until firm.
