  • 1/2 gal. milk
  • 4 cans cream
  • 8 egg yolks
  • 8 egg whites
  • 1 c. bourbon
  • 2 c. sugar
  • grated nutmeg to taste

Directions

    Heat milk.

    Beat egg yolks with sugar until lemon colored. Add hot milk and stir constantly.

    Add bourbon.

    Beat egg whites until stiff.

    Add to hot mixture.

    Stir to mix in egg whites. Serve hot or chilled.
