  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1/2 cup grape juice
  • 3/4 cup sour milk
  • 1 cup blackberry jam
  • 1 cup watermelon rind preserves
  • 1 cup fruit preserves fig
  • 3 cups flour, all-purpose plain
  • 4 cups pecans chopped
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 small apples raw, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt optional
  • 1 each raisins, seedless
  • 1/2 pound candied pineapple
  • 1 pound candied cherries
  • 4 teaspoons cocoa powder
