- powdered sugar
- 3 3/4 cups granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 cups light corn syrup
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon oil flavoring
- food coloring
Directions

1Sprinkle an 18 x 24-inch strip of heavy-duty aluminum foil with powdered sugar.

2Mix the granulated sugar, corn syrup and water in a large heavy pan.

3Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves.

4Boil, without stirring, until temperature reaches 310 degrees on a candy thermometer or until a few drops of syrup form hard and brittle threads in cold water.

5Remove from heat.

6Stir in oil and coloring.

7Pour onto foil.

8When cool, break into pieces.

9Store in airtight container.
