- 2 qt. popped corn
- 1 c. Karo syrup
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 tsp. white vinegar
Directions

1Place popcorn in a large, buttered bowl.

2In heavy 2-quart saucepan, stir together syrup, water, brown sugar and vinegar. Stir constantly over medium heat until mixture boils.

3Continue cooking, stirring occasionally until temperature on candy thermometer reaches 260° or until a small amount of mixture dropped into very cold water forms a ball.

4Remove from heat; stir in butter.

5Slowly pour over popcorn.

6Make balls.
