Old Fashioned Pound Cake

  • 1 lb. butter
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tsp. lemon or vanilla flavoring
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 c. Adulh plain flour (I prefer Adulh)
  • 1 c. milk

Directions

    Beat the first 6 ingredients together until real creamy and velvety looking.

    Add the flour and milk slowly and constantly beating consistently.

    The more the mixture is mixed, the better. Place in a large tube cake pan (greased well).

    Bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes at 325°.
