- 2 c. butter, softened
- 2 c. sugar
- 8 eggs
- 3 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. almond extract
Directions

1Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating until mixture is light and fluffy.

2Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3Combine and add flour and salt.

4Stir in vanilla and almond flavorings.

5Pour batter into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.

6Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.

7Cool in pan 10 to 15 minutes; remove from pan and cool on a rack.
