Olive Cheese Balls

  • 1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • dash of cayenne pepper
  • 25 pimento-stuffed green olives

Directions

    Preheat oven to 400°.

    Cream butter and cheese with an electric mixer or processor.

    Add flour and cayenne and mix into a firm dough.

    Dry olives on paper towel well.

    Wrap about a teaspoonful of dough around each olive, covering it completely. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake 15 minutes.

    Serve warm.

    (This recipe freezes well unbaked.
