  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 3 1/2 c. cooked tomatoes (or 1 qt. if you have your own)
  • 1/3 c. onion, chopped
  • 1/3 c. green sweet pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 c. ketchup
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. uncooked spaghetti, broken into small pieces

    Brown beef lightly over moderate heat; drain off fat.

    Add other ingredients and mix well.

    Cover and cook over high heat for about 5 minutes, stirring often.

    Reduce heat and simmer about 30 minutes or until spaghetti is tender, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking to skillet.
