Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 4 to 5 c. flour
Directions

1Put warm water in large bowl; add yeast with mixer at low speed.

2Add the next 4 ingredients.

3Increase mixer speed and slowly add 2 cups flour.

4Stir in 2 more cups of flour with a spoon.

5(If needed, add a little more flour at a time until dough is workable.)

6Let rise 15 to 20 minutes.

7Knead dough down in bowl 5 or 6 times.

8Make up into rolls.

9Let rise 20 minutes and bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes.

10This dough makes good cinnamon rolls.
