- 1 (4 oz.) pkg. Baker's semi-sweet chocolate or 1 (4 oz.) pkg. German sweet chocolate, broken in pieces
- 6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 3 eggs, separated
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- Chocolate Glaze
Directions

1Melt chocolate and butter in saucepan over very low heat. Stir constantly until smooth.

2Remove from heat.

3Stir in flour. Blend in yolks, one at a time. Beat egg whites until foamy throughout.

4Gradually beat in sugar.

5Continue beating until soft peaks will form.

6Gently fold chocolate mixture into egg whites. Blend thoroughly.

7Pour in greased and floured 8-inch layer pan. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

8Cool 10 minutes (cake will continue to cool upside on rack).

9Spread top and sides with Chocolate Glaze. Garnish with chopped pistachios.
