One Pot Stroganoff

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 4 c. tomato juice
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 8 oz. medium egg noodles
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 c. sour cream

Directions

    Saute beef and onion in Dutch oven until brown.

    Pour off excess fat.

    Stir in tomato juice, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.

    Bring to a boil.

    Add noodles, a few at a time, so mixture continues to boil.

    Reduce heat, cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender.

    Stir in sour cream thoroughly, but do not boil.

    Serves 4 to 6.
