One-Step Yeast Rolls

- 1/2 c. hot water
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 3 c. plain or bread flour
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Soften Crisco in hot water; add sugar and salt.

2Dissolve yeast in warm water with a tablespoon of sugar.

3Add egg; mix well all together and add flour.

4Mix well with fork.

5Place in refrigerator to chill for several hours (best overnight).

6Make rolls out several hours before baking (or enough time to double in bulk). Cut to make Parker House shape or make cloverleaf in muffin tins. Bake at 350° to 375° for about 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
