- 1 pkg. onion soup
- 2 c. water
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- pinch of sugar
- 6 Tbsp. milk
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. sugar
Directions

1Simmer onion soup in water about 10 minutes.

2In the meantime, dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water and sugar.

3Take milk, butter, salt and sugar and mix with soup mixture.

4Add yeast when cool.

5Mix in, not too stiff dough.

6Allow to rise.

7Form 2 long loaves on cookie sheet; slash top of loaves with shears.

8When light, bake in 400° oven for beginning and lower to 350° for 30 minutes.
