- 6 Vidalia onions
- 1/4 stick butter
- Swiss and Cheddar cheese slices
- 1 can French fried onion rings
Directions

1Chop onions into bite-size pieces and place in 2-quart buttered casserole dish.

2Chop butter into small pats and place evenly over onions.

3Place cheese slices on top.

4Cover and bake in a 350° oven for 45 minutes.

5The cheese will melt and hold the onions together.

6Take out of oven and sprinkle French fried onions on top.

7Return to oven and bake for 10 minutes.
