- 6 large onions
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/2 c. grated Swiss cheese
- black pepper
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 can milk
- 4 slices buttered French bread
Directions

1Saute onions in margarine.

2Put in long 13 x 9-inch pan. Sprinkle with Swiss cheese and pepper.

3Mix soup and milk together and pour over last ingredients.

4Place four or more slices of buttered French bread on top (enough slices buttered to cover casserole top).

5Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
