- 1/2 c. long grain rice (uncooked)
- 8 c. coarsely chopped onions
- 1/4 c. butter, melted
- 1 c. Swiss cheese, grated
- 2/3 c. half and half
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cook rice in 5 cups boiling water for 5 minutes.

2Drain.

3Set aside.

4Cook onions in butter until limp but not browned.

5Combine all ingredients.

6Mix well.

7Pour in a 2-quart casserole.

8Bake 1 hour at 350°.
