Ingredients

  • 2 Vidalia onions or enough to cover bottom of baking dish 2 or 3 times (other onions not so good or crunchy)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
  • 1/3 soup can milk
  • slivered water chestnuts
  • 2 c. Total or corn flakes
  • 1/2 stick margarine, melted
  • slivered almonds

Directions

    Spray 9 x 9-inch baking dish with Pam.

    Slice onion.
  3. 3
    Place in bottom of dish with slivered water chestnuts.

    Add Total and almonds.
  5. 5
    Pour margarine evenly over.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
