Onion Dill Bread

- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. warm water
- 2/3 c. margarine or butter, softened
- 2 eggs (1 whole, 1 egg white)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. dried dill weed
Directions

1Dissolve yeast with 1/2 cup warm water in a large mixing bowl. Add 1/2 cup warm water, margarine, eggs, salt and one cup flour. Beat on low speed for 30 seconds, scraping bowl constantly.

2Beat on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally.

3Stir in remaining flour until smooth.

4Add onion and dill weed.

5Scrape dough from sides of pan; cover and let rise until double in size (30 minutes or more).

6Batter is ready if indentation remains. Stir down by beating 25 strokes.
