Onion Dill Bread

Ingredients
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. warm water
- 3 Tbsp. melted margarine
- 1 heaping Tbsp. instant minced onion
- 2 tsp. dill weed
- 1 1/2 c. lukewarm buttermilk
- 7 c. plain flour
Directions

1Put the dry ingredients in flour sifter, except onion and dill, with one cup of flour and sift in a large mixing bowl.

2Mix yeast with warm water; let activate about 12 to 15 minutes.

3Add egg and margarine; beat well until blended.

4Add buttermilk, onion, dill and enough flour to make a stiff dough.

5Knead and let rise until double in bulk.

6Stir down, divide in half and press down into 2 well greased loaf pans.

7Bake at 350° for about 35 minutes.
