- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 1/4 tsp. butter or margarine
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 1/4 c. sifted flour
- 1 Tbsp. instant onion
- 1/2 tsp. dried dill weed, rosemary or other herb
- melted butter
- coarse salt
Directions

1Scald milk; remove from heat.

2Stir in sugar, salt and butter until dissolved.

3Cool.

4In large bowl, dissolve yeast in water. Add cooled milk mixture.

5Stir flour into yeast mixture.

6Add onions and herbs.

7Stir together until well blended.

8Cover and let rise in warm place until tripled in bulk (45 minutes).
