- 8 onions, sliced thin
- 3 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. thin cream
- seasoning
- 10-inch deep dish pie shell
- 6 or 7 broiled bacon strips
Directions

1Cook onions in oil until golden, but not brown.

2Spread onions on bottom of pie shell.

3Season with salt and pepper to taste.

4Mix egg with cream; pour over all.

5Bake until the pie is slightly brown on top.

6Sprinkle crumbled bacon over the top and serve. (This may be served with a salad, a drink and dessert.)

7Bake for 20 minutes at 450° or until pie is brown.

8Serves 4 to 6.
