- mayonnaise as needed
- 1 small Vidalia or sweet onion, thinly sliced

4Toast the bread lightly in a toaster oven.

5Remove the crusts.

6Cut the slices with a 2-inch round biscuit cutter and spread the rounds lightly with mayonnaise.

7Put a slice of onion on top of each piece and spread with mayonnaise again.

8Broil until golden brown.

10You can add some chopped fresh parsley on top of the puffs after broiling.
