- 8 large onions
- 2 lb. beef, cut in cubes
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 tsp. rosemary
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 2 c. red wine
- 2 qt. water
- 3 cubes beef bouillon
Directions

1Brown meat.

2Add garlic and rosemary.

3Remove meat and simmer onions until soft.

4Sprinkle in brown sugar and stir.

5Return meat.

6Add wine.

7Cook 2 minutes.

8Add water and bouillon.

9Simmer 30 to 45 minutes.
