- 1 large red onion, sliced
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 14 1/2 oz. beef broth
- dash of Worcestershire sauce
- 2 slices French bread, toasted
- 4 Tbsp. grated Swiss cheese
Directions

1In saucepan cook 1 large sliced onion in butter 5 minutes, stirring often.

2Add beef broth and a dash of Worcestershire sauce and cook 5 minutes.

3Divide soup between two ovenproof bowls.

4Top each with toasted French bread and half the Swiss cheese.

5Bake in 325° oven for 5 minutes or until cheese melts.

6Serves 2.
