- 6 onions, sliced
- 2 cans beef consomme
- 2 cans water
Directions

1Saute onions in margarine with salt and pepper.

2Add small amount of water so onions will cook and soften, but not brown or burn.

3Heat consomme and water.

4Add onions with their liquid. Simmer about 1 hour.

5Serve with toast points and cheese.
