- 1/2 to 1 lb. fresh ahi
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. garlic, minced
- 4 Tbsp. capers
- 1/4 c. virgin olive oil
- 1/4 c. balsamic vinegar or other seasoned vinegar
- grated fresh Parmesan cheese (may use fresh Romano cheese)
Directions

1Thinly slice ahi and lay on platter.

2Cover with plastic wrap. Use wooden meat hammer to pound thin.

3Remove plastic wrap.

4Spread minced (or crushed) garlic over ahi.

5Grate fresh Parmesan and sprinkle capers.

6Chill until ready to serve.

7Mix olive oil and seasoned vinegar in a small covered jar.

8Shake well.

9Just prior to serving, pour vinegar and oil mixture evenly over the dish and enjoy.
